William J. Gordon focuses his practice of law on such areas as personal
injury claims, medical malpractice claims, property claims, and construction
and motor vehicle accidents. Other areas of expertise include products
liability, premises liability, insurance law, professional liability, and estates.
He is admitted to the bar in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut and
before the U.S. District Courts in the Eastern and Southern Districts of
New York and in New Jersey.

Prior to joining Leahey & Johnson, Mr. Gordon clerked for the New York
State Supreme Court in New York County, working primarily in the complex
litigation part.

Bill is a graduate of New York Law School (1988), where he joined the
Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity, and received his B.A. degree from
St. Peter’s College. While in law school he also studied at the University
of Florence. There he focused on international products liability law
and comparative law, including the law of the European Economic
Community. He is fluent in French.

Mr. Gordon was born and raised in New York City.
